Modlitba CERCu v neděli 9. března

Bože, náš nebeský Otče,
ty chceš, abychom žili v radosti a přátelství,
sjednoceni ve tvé lásce a zbaveni bídy, nespravedlnosti a nenávisti.
Proto tě prosíme za všechny evropské národy,
které usilují o jednotu, překonání rozporů a dobro pro všechny evropské občany.
Vyprošujeme tvé vedení evropským vůdcům, politikům a členům parlamentu:
Ať s moudrostí a upřímností hledají a nacházejí dobro pro všechny evropské národy.
Ať úsilí o hospodářskou a finanční prosperitu nezastíní důležitost duchovních hodnot,
z nichž všichni musíme dennodenně čerpat.
Ať všichni při hledání vlastního dobra a štěstí nezapomínáme nikdy na ty,
kdo potřebují naši pomocnou ruku.
Maria, Matko Boží a matko naše,
ochraňuj národy evropského kontinentu.
Ať pod mateřskou ochranou tvé ruky zůstáváme věrni svým křesťanským kořenům
a tvému Synu, který z nás činí bratry a sestry.

Heavenly Father,
You say that we should live in happiness and friendship,
united by your love and free from poverty, injustice and hatred.
It is for this reason we are praying for so many European nations
who have been trying to form a union,
thus overcoming their mutual differences
and providing for the welfare of each European citizen.
We beseech you to guide the European leaders, politicians and members of the Parliament.
May their many a wise and unbiased decisions result
in the welfare of all the European nations!
May the pursuit of economic and financial prosperity not lessen the importance
of spiritual values everybody needs to nourish nowadays.
May we, striving for our own welfare,
never intentionally ignore those who need our helping hand.
Mary, our Beloved Mother of God,
embrace the nations living on the European soil.
May we, under the protection of your motherly hand,
remain faithful to our Christian roots
and to your Son joining us together like brothers and sisters.

Dieu, Notre Père,
Tu dis que nous devrions vivre dans la joie et l’amitié,
unis par ton amour et libérés de la pauvreté, de l’injustice et de la haine.
C’est pour cela que nous prions pour les nombreux pays européens qui essaient de s’unir,
dépassant ainsi leurs différences et œuvrant au bien-être de chaque citoyen européen.
Nous te demandons de guider les leaders européens, hommes politiques et membres du Parlement.
Que leurs décisions avisées et impartiales
apportent le bien-être à toutes les nations européennes!
Que la recherche de la prospérité économique et financière
n’occulte pas l’importance des valeurs spirituelles
dont tout le monde a besoin de se nourrir de nos jours.
Que nous-mêmes, en recherchant à tout prix notre propre bien-être,
n’ignorions jamais délibérément ceux qui ont besoin d’une main secourable.
Marie, Mère de Dieu et notre Mère,
protège les nations qui vivent sur la terre d’Europe.
Que sous la protection de ta main maternelle,
nous puissions rester fidèles à nos racines chrétiennes
et à ton Fils qui nous réunit comme des frères et sœurs.

Dio Padre di tutta l’umanità,
Tu vuoi che siamo felici, che non ci sia poverta tra noi,
né ingiustizie, né odio e che il tuo amore ci unisca nell’amicizia.
Con gioia guardiamo i numerosi popoli europei
che si uniscono tra loro, annullano le differenze
e cercano il bene comune di tutti.
Illumina i responsabili delle nazioni, i politici e i deputati,
affinché con saggezza e onesta cerchino e optino per il bene di tutti.
Che la preoccupazione per il progresso economico e materiale
non offuschi mai i valori spirituali, di cui abbiamo bisogno.
Che la ricerca del proprio benessere non ci faccia dimenticare
quanti necessitano del nostro aiuto.
Maria, Madre nostra,
alla tua protezione affidiamo tutti i popoli d’Europa.
Proteggici perché rimaniamo fedeli alle nostre radici cristiane
e al Figlio tuo, che ci edifica nell’unità come fratelli e sorelle.

Gott, Vater aller Menschen,
Dein Wunsch ist es, dass Deine Kinder glücklich wären,
dass keiner unter Armut, Unrecht oder Hass gelitten hätte
und dass Deine Liebe die Freundschaft unter uns festigen würde.
Mit großer Freude halten wir Ausschau nach zahlreichen Völkern Europas,
die sich einigen, die die Unterschiede abschaffen
und für das Gemeinwohl aller sorgen.
Rege die Staatschefs, Politiker und Abgeordneten im Europäischen Parlament an,
dass sie besonnene und ehrliche Entscheidungen treffen werden
und dass sie Sorge für das Wohlergehen aller Europäer tragen werden.
Soll die wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Prosperität
nimmer die geistigen Werte, die wir dringend brauchen, verschleiern!
Hilf uns, dass wir
bei der Sicherstellung von eigener Wohlfahrt
diejenigen, die unseren Beistand brauchen, nicht aus dem Auge verlieren!
Maria, Mutter Gottes und unsere Mutter!
Deinem mütterlichen Schutz übergeben wir voll Vertrauen alle europäischen Völker.
Behüte uns,
damit wir den christlichen Wurzeln und Deinem Sohn,
der uns als Brüder und Schwester vereinigt,
treu bleiben könnten.
